The Saudi-led coalition launched a massive airstrike on the Houthi rebels on the 21st, and President Moon Jae-in criticized the Houthi rebels and launched arms sales diplomacy to the Saudi UAE, Egypt, and the Middle East.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said at least 82 people were killed and 265 injured in an airstrike on a concentration camp in Sada, Yemen, on the 21st, the Associated Press reported.
Saudi GCC spokesman Turki al-Malki said on the same day that the rebel Houthis did not register the camp as a 'protection facility' with the United Nations and international organizations.
President Moon Jae-in held a summit meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince on the 18th, congratulated the Saudi-led Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) unified command, and criticized the capture of the Houthi rebels as “an act of impeding freedom of navigation and international trade.”
On the 17th, even though the UAE Crown Prince summit was canceled just before the Houthi rebels' panic drone strike in Abu Dhabi on the 17th, President Moon said in a phone call afterward, saying, "The (Houthi) drone attack was expected." We will increase the UAE's defense," the Blue House said.
In an airstrike on the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on the 17th, the Saudi-led GCC coalition carried out more than 24 airstrikes in 24 hours, killing 12 people and injuring 11 people.
The GCC Unified Command, as announced by President Moon, was established last year in response to the nuclear development of Iran by the six countries of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
On the 21st, during the GCC bombing of a concentration camp in Sada, Yemen, President Moon left Egypt, the last country he visited in the Middle East.
President Moon tried to export 1 trillion won worth of K-self-propelled artillery to Egypt, but it was unsuccessful, and his previous attempts to export weapons such as missiles and nuclear power plants to Saudi Arabia failed.
On the 3rd, the Associated Press reported that the “Houthi rebel captured vessel” that President Moon had revealed to the Saudi Crown Prince was “the UAE landing craft ‘Rwabee’ as a result of tracking.”
The Saudi-led coalition confirmed on the 3rd that the abductee was carrying equipment from a recently dismantled Saudi field hospital on the nearby island of Socotra.
