The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 27th that President Moon Jae-in and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Employment and Industry had sent personal letters from each country, held high-level meetings and held local negotiations through diplomatic missions abroad.

Regarding former Minister Kang, who ran for office on October 1, last year, Minjoo Party spokesperson Kim Jin-wook said in a briefing on the 2nd that he would "actively support the election of the secretary-general" and create a cross-ministerial task force centered on the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Employment and Labor, and help the government.

At a summit meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on January 18, President Moon requested public support from Kang's former Foreign Minister, and Saudi Arabia is a member of the ILO.
President Moon then signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on the 20th to establish a new EDCF (External Economic Cooperation Fund) loan of $1 billion for Egypt for five years (2022-2026) at a summit. exchanged Egyptian support for the 'peace process'.

The Moon Jae-in regime, in which the Republican Trump Party restored the hard-line conservative Reagan system and joined the power-based foreign policy by increasing arms, collided with Japan and entered the world's sixth-largest military power by increasing military expenditures that surpassed Japan's defense cost. In the strategies of 'Peace' and 'Competition for North Korea's productivity system', it increased armaments by selling weapons under the New Southern Policy to Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Japanese ministers described former Minister Kang as a 'decoration' in their diplomacy between Korea and Japan.

In 2019, President Moon announced the self-reliance policy of a ‘minister manager’, saying, “I promise to become a country that no one can shake” regarding Japan’s restrictions on exports of core semiconductor materials, and recently published the book “A Country That No One Can Shake”.
