Democratic Party leader candidate Lee Jae-myung said that the low-income group was a supporter of the people's power and attacked the Democratic Party belonging to the established elite, saying that he would create a "progressive party" by hard-line republican conservatives.

“I owe nothing to the vested interests, so I am still being attacked by the vested interests in all areas,” he said.
Candidate Lee said on YouTube Live that day, "As far as I know, people with high education, high income, and so-called rich people have more support for us. Low-education and low-income people support the people's power a lot." He said, "There is no need to exclude the rich. Going beyond democracy to republicanism (let’s go), there are many stories like this.” He advocated the hard-line conservatism of the US Republican Party as a progressive party.
Candidate Lee continued, "In terms of living harmoniously together, shouldn't it be a society that respects the rich who pay a lot of tax? So, shouldn't we go to a progressive mass party rather than the working class and the middle class?" he said, following the support base of the Republican Party of white workers and rich people.
In his presidential campaign promises, Lee put a priority on the advancement of capital profits by achieving 'KOSPI of 5000'.
During the party debate, Lee said, "Because of the huge bipartisan monopoly system, the people must choose between the two. (omitted) I have a sense of shame in choosing the lesser evil rather than the second best. He criticized the two-party system, saying, "We tend to wait for the opponent's failure rather than waiting for the opponent's failure and engross the opponent in order to induce failure." Lee continued, "Not keeping promises in politics. The problem is the distorted perception that it is natural to make promises that cannot be kept,” he said. I have not changed my belief that only by creating a structure in which a third choice is possible, the people will be able to make better choices, not lesser evil, and that this will contribute to political development and cause political parties to compete in good faith."
He continued, "Parties should recognize, respect, and utilize diversity. Usually, if you have power, you have a desire and want to have 100% of it, but you just have to let go of the initiative. I think that I only have 51% of our society." He said, "The press, the power, and the politicians all hate me."
In his declaration of candidacy, Lee declared the current 4% high-growth debt economy system as an “enemy” of low-growth, and announced a tougher payoff for stronger fiscal expansion and strengthening of the fund economy.
In the presidential election process, Lee took the lead in the Moon Jae-in regime and the Democratic Party, but with the Republican Party's patriotic nationalism at the fore, excluding the progressive solidarity and prejudice of the US Democrats, riding on Trump's US priority by increasing arms, and moving from a hard-line conservative contest to the pro-Republican party's Yun Seok-yeol system transferred.
