Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport & Yonhap News Manipulated ‘Bridge Access Alternative’ as ‘Endpoint Alternative’

The Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs and Yonhap News manipulated the conclusion of the KDI preliminary report, the 'review of bridge access plans', as a 'fundamental alternative to the endpoint'.
Yonhap News, which reported the preliminary report released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the 23rd, titled <"Yangpyeong Expressway Yeta also mentions the need for a 'fundamental alternative review'" (comprehensive)>, saying, "It is pointed out that the location of the end point (Yangseo-myeon) of the original route is not appropriate, so an alternative review is needed."
The KDI conclusion said, “The report needs a technical review to see if it is possible to attach roads while expanding the bridge,” and “a fundamental alternative to the access method is needed in case of difficulty.”
The report pointed out 'technical review' and 'fundamental alternative to access plan' for "design of connection to bridge (Jungchon Bridge) passing through the section between tunnels", and the association changed it to 'alternative to change the end point of the route', and the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs announced that 'the end point change is the conclusion of the KDI preliminary report'.
In this article by the alliance, “It is the position of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs that it came to review alternatives during the feasibility study process because there were various difficulties in carrying out the end points of both sides proposed in the original draft.”
In the first part of the article, Yonhap stated that <The Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway Preliminary Feasibility Study (ETA) Report also pointed out that the location of the end point (Yangseo-myeon) of the original route was not appropriate, requiring an alternative review>, stating that “end point crisis is not appropriate” was the content of the KDI report.
Previously, Nocut News said in an interview with a researcher participating in the KDI report that “the route under review was in consideration of the connection with the expressway to Chuncheon in the northeast.”

Nocut News said on the 17th, "In the process of promoting the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway as a national project, it was confirmed as a result of CBS Nocut News coverage that it was tied to the same 'axis' (stem route) as the Seoul-Chuncheon (Yangyang) Expressway in the top-level national road plan."

The association continued, “There is also data on the consultation process and results of experts on the original plan and alternatives in October of last year.” “According to this data, experts expressed their opinion that the ‘review plan’ (alternative plan) would be more advantageous in terms of regional balanced development than the ‘preliminary plan’ (original plan).”

In particular, the association reported, “The position of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs is that there were several difficulties in fulfilling the end point of the two-way paper proposed in the original plan, so that the feasibility study later reviewed alternatives.”

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong said on Facebook at the release of the data, "I will not be shaken or compromised by ghost stories and false incitement."

He continued, "I will check the open data and answer any questions you have directly."
